Trust & Safety
Security and privacy, by design.
Dwelluno is built to protect your information and minimize what we collect. This page explains our approach in plain English—what we store, how we protect it, and what controls you have.
Data minimization
We collect only what’s needed to provide the service. You choose what home information to store.
Secure transport
We use HTTPS/TLS to protect data in transit and reduce interception or tampering risk.
Access controls
Sensitive operations require authenticated access. We use least-privilege principles for services and credentials.
User controls
You can request account deletion at any time. We aim to keep the system “claims-ready” while respecting your privacy.
What data we store
Dwelluno stores the information you enter to manage your home: assets, documents (like warranties/receipts/manuals), and maintenance history. During beta, we may also collect feedback and basic support information to improve the product.
Waitlist data
If you join the beta waitlist, we store the details you provide (like email and a few preference fields) so we can contact you with an invite and prioritize onboarding.
Product data
Inside the app, you decide what to store—assets, maintenance, and documents. We don’t need bank info and we do not sell your data.
How we protect your data
Encryption in transit
Connections to our site and APIs use HTTPS/TLS.
Authentication
We rely on modern authentication practices (for example, token-based auth) to prevent unauthorized access.
Least privilege
Services and credentials are scoped to the minimum permissions necessary to operate.
Operational guardrails
We use basic protections like rate limiting and careful input validation to reduce abuse and injection risk.
No system is perfect. Our goal is pragmatic security: strong defaults, minimal data, and rapid response if something goes wrong.
Account deletion & data requests
You can request deletion at any time. For beta users, deletion means we remove (or de-identify where appropriate) the data associated with your account, subject to any legal requirements.
Responsible disclosure
If you believe you’ve found a security issue, please contact us so we can investigate and fix it. Include steps to reproduce, affected pages, and any relevant screenshots.
