Trust & Safety

Security and privacy, by design.

Last updated: January 10, 2026.

Dwelluno is built to protect your information and minimize what we collect. This page explains our approach in plain English—what we store, how we protect it, and what controls you have.

Data minimization

We collect only what’s needed to provide the Service. You choose what home information and files to store.

Secure transport

We use HTTPS/TLS to protect data in transit and reduce interception or tampering risk.

Access controls

Sensitive operations require authenticated access. We use least-privilege principles for services and credentials where applicable.

User controls

You can request account deletion at any time. We aim to help you stay organized and “claims-ready” while respecting your privacy.

What data we store

Dwelluno stores information you enter to manage your home, such as assets, maintenance history, and documents you upload (for example: receipts, manuals, photos, warranty documents). During beta, we may also store feedback and basic support information to improve the product.

Waitlist data

If you join the beta waitlist, we store the details you provide (like email and a few preference fields) so we can contact you with an invite and prioritize onboarding.

Product data

Inside the app, you decide what to store—assets, maintenance, and documents. We do not need bank information to provide the core service, and we do not sell your personal information.

For details on how we collect and use information, see our Privacy Policy.

How we protect your data

Encryption in transit

Connections to our site and APIs use HTTPS/TLS.

Authentication

We rely on modern authentication practices (for example, token-based authentication) to help prevent unauthorized access.

Least privilege

We aim to scope services and credentials to the minimum permissions necessary to operate.

Operational guardrails

We use practical protections (such as basic rate limiting and careful input validation) to reduce abuse and injection risk.

No system is perfect. Our goal is pragmatic security: strong defaults, minimal data, and rapid response if something goes wrong.

Account deletion & data requests

You can request deletion at any time. During beta, deletion generally means we delete (or de-identify where appropriate) the data associated with your account, subject to technical and legal limits.

Responsible disclosure

If you believe you’ve found a security vulnerability, please report it privately so we can investigate and fix it. Include steps to reproduce, affected pages/endpoints, and any relevant screenshots.
